PlayStation models

The NTSC 90K model PS2 is the fastest known system to run the PS1 version on. If you're running on PS2, make sure to turn on fast disc speed! You have to do this every time you turn the console on. To turn on fast disc speed:

1. Press Triangle on Browser to open the Version menu.

2. Press Triangle on PlayStation Driver to open Options.

3. Change disc speed to fast.

Dreamcast models

There may be differences, but we don't know. Most runs have been done on Revision 1 consoles. GDEMU is not allowed for runs.

Take the memory card out

• If you're on DC, this will allow you to hold A to skip the save screen.

• If you're on PS, you still have to select no. However, you won't have to wait for it to search the memory cards if you accidentally select yes.

Use D-pad! (at least sometimes)

Many runners use D-pad only. You can still use the stick if you want, but some tricks only work (or work much better) with D-pad. These include certain OoB tricks like Barnyard wall clip and Manor toast clip. If a trick isn't working on analog, try D-pad.
